Thermometer and similar

I want to create a thermometer with an upper and a lower limit. The
background color between the two limits should be other (e.g. green) than
the backgroundcolor outside the limits (e.g. red). The measured value should
be a small bar in a third color (e.g. black).
I have experimented with a second and a third slide but with no
satisfaction.

Could anybody help me?

Hi,
I've found that it's more easier to do what you want with controls then with indicators.
In attached VI you will find controls with your colors. If you want you can change them to indicators.
