Hello,

when usings the Word_insert_table.vi sometime's we got the message: "This method or property is not available because the clipboard is empty or not valid....."

What is the reasons for this and what can I do to prevent this error?

Is it a vi that you developt by yourself?

I canot find that vi in my library.

Can you post your code so we can help you more with that?

The vi is part of the Labview report generation toolkit for Microsoft Office.

Hi Mike,

yes, in principe is this the configuation, I use some vi's more because I insert also text and change fonts.

Hi Mike,

I think is has someting to do with Word or the combination. My interpreation is that Laview has not filled the passed buffer as Word needs is?!?

I have attacht the complete message.

Note that I have add the text "State Print WO[" and  "-WO--2146823683-TS--2146823683-VI-2146823683-MA--2146823683]" is add by my Errror handler for traceability reasons.

This error is not occuring allway's some time it work perfect and somtime's not.

It looks like is is in combination with a certain PC, on my own PC I can not reproduce it.
