I have a situation where I attempt to update the time zone of a 9014 cRIO to eastern time, which is GMT-4 currently. When I do this, it actually sets the time zone on the RIO to GMT+4. Can anyone shed some light as to why? Or is this simply a major bug?
The only thing I found that references anything like this is NI Bug ID 386836, stating I need "NI Web-based Configuration & Monitoring" to be installed, which it is. It is an older version, 1.0.1, so I don't know if that matters since it doesn't specify. I'm hesitant to simply upgrade it since I tried upgrading some of the other RIO software components and it ending up breaking my deployed application.
Anybody ever see this?

Hello,
After doing some tests we are able to reproduce this misbehavior. I will create a Corrective Action Request regarding the misbehavior to inform R&D of the problem. We apologize for the inconvenience.
A work around would be to use the RT Set Date and Time function. If you are using LabVIEW 2012 or later then you can find the function at C:\Program Files\National InstrumentsNational Instruments\LabVIEW 2013\Targets\NI\RT\vi.lib\rtutility.llb
