Torque Sensor and DAQExpress and Labview

Hello,

I have the TQ513 torque sensor and I have connected it with the DAQ USB 6218.

I started trying with the DAQexpress, but I couldnt see any differences in the output.

Then I tried with LabView and when I am going to DAQ, it cant find the torque sensor that is connected..

Any thoughts?

Hi Alexis,

don't start with DAQExpress, don't start with LabVIEW.

Start with MAX!

In MAX you can test your device and sensor using testpanels.

MAX also shows you how to connect your sensor to which pin of your DAQ device.

In MAX you can also define a DAQmx task that you will later use in your LabVIEW VI.

Btw. DAQmx measurements are very easy to implement in LabVIEW!

Best regards,

Hello Gerdw,

Thanks for your reply! I will try the MAX but generally all the other sensors that I am using, first I tried them in the DAQExpress and then to LAbview..

Regards,
Alexis
