Two menu rings in action.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I need to choice two parameters from three parameters. I am using two
menu rings with three items each one, with one of them I choice one
parameter and with the other I choice the next parameter. However when I
start, sometimes I have the same parameter in each menu ring containing
a checkmark. This a problem if someone start the program under this
condition.

I would appreciate any suggestion to avoid a checkmark on the same
parameter in both menu rings even from start.
Also maybe is not the best way to choice the two parameters, so please I
would also appreciate a suggestion on this direction.

Thanks in advance,

Luis Diaz

I'd suggest to use listbox for this purposes, because it suppor
ts
multiple selections itself.

In your example you need to create property nodes for each menu ring,
get selection number from the first one and wire "disabled items"
property of the second one for the already selected items in first menu
ring. Warning: you should be sure that property node for the first and
second rings are executed in turn and the second menu ring control is
updated after it's property node.

If you are using LV6, play the same game with references, hope that it
will be simpler to debug.
Again, I'd suggest listbox.
