USB 6501 and DSpic dialog

Hi,

I'm a new user of Labview and for my application, I need to create a dialog between a dsPic and the NI USB-6501.
With Labview, I have to configure 6501 to receive a serie transmission emit by the DSpic and display it on a caracter chain.

But when I try to configure the NI-DAQ assistant with Digital I/O --> lign entry (I don't know the english terms, I've a french version of Labview), demanding a continuous acquisition and a external clock, I get the error message 200077 and I can only use the clock "On demand".

If I select it, after that the VI was created, I can connect its output with no other elements like express table or caracter chain.

I don't know what's my mistake and what I have to do.

Can somebody help me ?

Hello,

Have tyou correctly installed the NI-VISA drivers to communicate with your PIC ?
Why don't you use the VISA VIs available in LabVIEW ?
