Unsupported VIs for the cRIO-9030

I am fairly confident it is a bug. I forgot that I posted a similar problem in November. https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/On-cRIO-9033-property-node-Owning-VI-Reference-is-Invalid/td-p/2990...

It seems like the linux rt's have a hard time handling references. This really limits what I can do with my UIs.

Hello LJHerskowitz,

Can you give a little bit of an overview of the program you are working with and how you are interfacing with the front panel?

Are you seeing a specific error?

Kelly B.

Below is a very quick example of this error. I see a 1055 error; LabVIEW:  Object reference is invalid.. I thought I only saw it in a sub.vi which is why below has a sub.vi doing the same thing as the main vi. But both currently give me an error.

Hi LJHerskowitz,

I'm not sure if this is a bug yet, but I will be attempting to reproduce the error.

Which VI is the main VI referencing?  Is that VI located on a host PC or on the cRIO?

Kelly B.

Hi LJHerkowitz,

I believe the problem is occuring in the VI Front Panel property node.  I have submitted CAR #517922 for this issue.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Regards,
Kelly B.
