NI Support managed to convert my VI
first to 8.5.1, which worked fine. Then he opened it in 2009 but it crashed when trying to save, he started to eliminate controls and found out that the Image control was causing the problem. He then managed to save it in 2009 and opened it in 2011, and in 2011 he saved it for 2010 😛
Anyway, its working now and I can open it in 2010 🙂
now to do some cleaning up in the VI.....

Hello signal generator,
I was able to download and view your 10 LLB files. Just to clarify, do you need the whole LabVIEW Library Files (LLB) updated or just the contents of the library files ( the VIs ) to LabVIEW 8.5?
Thanks in advance,
Andrew Brown

A Downconvert VI Requests thread was created to try to keep all conversion requests from a newer version of LabVIEW to an older version of LabVIEW in one place.
While there is sort of a threadto post requests to upconvert VIs from LV 5.0 to 8.5, I figured a more general "upconvert" thread would provide symmetry to the Downconvert VI Requests thread.
Please use this thread to post requests to upconvert VIs from an older version of LabVIEW to a newer version of LabVIEW.
In your post please indicate:
source LabVIEW version
target LabVIEW version

Why would you post this question in the upconvert thread? Especially if you read the quote you posted which tells you the purpose of the upconvert and downconvert threads!

attache is in 8.2. The code is quite poor and I suggest rewriting it.

Why would you go out of your way to find it and then want to use that code when a current driver is available from NI? Tools>Instrumentation>Find Instrument Drivers

Hi Andew
I think I need the whole LabVIEW Library Files to be updated, I just can't open them on my computer with my LabVIEW version now.
Thanks you so much!!

Thanks for spotting that Dennis. Sometimes I get into automatic mode with these upconversions...
