Hey,
In VBAI under Tools>Options>Startup you can set "Start Inspection when Launched", which causes VBAI to run a predefined inspection when you start it. So you can put VBAI e.g. into the Autostart Folder of Windows then.

Well, I wouldn't have used a Windows system for a headless application. I would take CVS which runs with a Realtime OS which you can simply power on, the application is running and the power down.
In your case....I don't know...switch off the system?
