What is the noise in your system with only a battery connected to daq unit. It could be nice to know that.


 

Thanks for that, why aren't the resistors of the same magnitude?  Something to do with bias currents between the two terminals, but then how can bias currents be anticipated with respect to fluctuating voltages?  Also why are they on the order of 30-40k and not 100k or 1M?  Forgive me, my background isn't in electronics!

 

As for quantifying noise with a battery I'd hope to be able to try that at some point.
