What do you think of the LabVIEW Tools Network?

I have perused the Tools Network twice in the past, and the hardest part was even being able to find the Tools Network. Going to ni.com, there's not a link to the Tools Network on the homepage. Also, when I type "add-on" or "tools" into the search menu, the Tools Network is not returned within the first few pages of results. (Had I remembered it was specifically called "Tools Network", this would not be a problem, but I couldn't remember if it was called Add-On Network, Tools Center, Software Modules, LabVIEW Plugins...).

The Communities and Forums also suffer from this problem - there are no hi-vis links on the homepage. I tend to use the homepage as a launching point for website navigation and depend on the website layout to guide me to the right places. The Tools Network is great, and generating more traffic and publicity is a key ingredient for making it better.

I stand corrected... 25% of the time, there's a high-vis link on the homepage. 😉 The irony here is that even though it's got the #1 slot in the advertisement ticker, my mind has developed filters for things on websites that resemble advertisements, and I gravitate toward static links and text where I think I'll find the "real" information. (Is that just me?)

The advert looks very nice, whoever made it did a good job visually, but the target audience for these advanced toolkits might have a better response to a permanent toolbar link rather than a temporary advert.
