Why does my application need internet connection?

Hi,

I just developed a very simple application using one USB9211A.

When I run it on a different PC the firewall indicates that the application tries to connect to internet. If connection is forbidden it does not work (Internal Software Error occurred in MIG software. Please contact National Instruments Support).

this behaviour is caused by MAX which tries to verify all your NI modules connecting to them through TCP/IP: there's no internet connection actually.

Still, your firewall can intercept and block this kind of communication: all you have to do is to check the permission settings in your firewall.
