X-scale only arbitrary in Labview v2009

LabView v8.6.1 and earlier showed uniform detailed x scale marks using an XY Chart (see scale on bottom of chart)

and after the update to v2009 the x scale only shows arbitrary marks and the rest of the scale is blank.  There is typically only one mark at the beginning and one at the end of the scale and one arbitrary one that changes on each update.  Is this a bug or is there a way to recover the detail on the x scale?

LabVIEW does not really have an xy chart. What kind of graph is it?

Can you make current values default, place the graph in a new VI, and attach the 8.6.1 version?

I meant XY Graph and not XY Chart.  Looks like the X Scale -> Style -> bottom left option with minor and major marks and numbers is not working.

The X scale grid is not working either.  But the Y scale grid looks fine.

I am having this exact same problem... terribly frustrating and I do not see any fixes.  Please let us know if anyone can fix this problem.

Hello, does this happen also when running the VI in the development environment or only as an application? Can you post a VI that shows this behavior?

Thanks,

Anna

I talked with a gentlemen at your office today... he said it is going to be looked at.  He has a vi in 8.6.1 that does exactly what we have described.  I wish I would have gotten his name.

Here is an easy one that exhibits the problem.  I have attached a vi with the problem.  Thanks for the help.  Cheers.

The problem occurs in both the development environment and in an the application built by App Builder.

While we are waiting for the official word on this issue, this example may be useful.

It adds a new marker for every third update.
