activex LV8.6 with Excel 2010

I've got a LV86 application that uses ActiveX to open a spreadsheet in excel, write data and saves the .xls file.  Works great until Excel2010 was installed.

It won't open Excel2010.

How do you use LV86 with Activex control Excel2010?  And no, I'm not spending $7000 to update to Labview 2010.

Solved. You can't use the "standard" version of Office as it no longer communicates with many outside applications. You must install a special version.
