  1. Go to NI MAX and find your cRIO under Remote Systems. 
  2. Expand the cRIO, right-click on Software, and select Add/Remove Software.
  3. In the software installation wizard, choose Custom software installation.
  4. Choose the components that you want to install. You should see USB Webcam Support in the list as shown in the screenshot in my previous post.
  5. Continue through the wizard to install the software.

On the previous page you need to select custom software installation.

Found it. The installation didn't change anything though, the camera is still appearing as a USB device

Hate to say it, but in that case you probably can't use this camera on the cRIO. Do you have to use this camera? If not there are other cameras that are compatible with the cRIO. Or could you use the camera on a PC?
