combine two intensity graphs in one jpeg

Hello everybody,

I have a question concerning jpegs (or bmp or whatever).

I know how to print an intensity-graph to a jpeg-file. But now I want to print two of these graphs (having different sizes) in just one file.

Does anybody have an idea (or even an example) how to do that?
