Hello,
We have a Digitimer DS7AH stimulator that we would like to control using LabView software because the protocol we want to use can't be done manually. We've read in the literature some people have made LabView programs for this. Anyone have any suggestions, or templates, or anything? We also have a DG2A train generator if that matters.
Regards,
Brian

Hi
Looks like you will need an analog board to interface to the instrument. What level of application do you want, one for use in the lab, or one that is used by technicians?
Can the train generator produce the waveform you want? I think this device can be triggered, but not sure if it can be given the same input as the DS7AH, in which case it would not make much difference to have it.
As far as LabVIEW is concerned, probably a producer consumer loop would do what you want. Easy to say 🙂 It depends on how much GUI you want, what kind of sync, data , and repetition you are looking to have.

Hi Mark,
Thanks so much for your reply.
Yes, the stimulator can do what we want in regards to the waveform. I just need to have Labview basically trigger the stimulator to deliver at pulse at specific time points.
We have a PCI AD card. I don't know the specifics of it. But I may also be able to get my hands on a NI USB 6229 BNC board to interface with the stimulator and pulse generator.
Any additional thoughts much appreciated.

Hi Brain,
How did you go with this? Find a solution?
