Hello,

You can use NI PCI/PXI 73XX motion cards and a drive to control/move your stepper motor.

What is the Stepper motor make..?

USB 4431 is DSA module and it wil not help in controlling stepper motor.

Bijay

thank u bijay

ok so now correct me if i'm wrong:

the flow will be

Labview code --> NI PXI/PCI-73xx motion controllers (connected to computer ) --> stepper motor drive --> stepper

any other component required?

also this is for a project in which i am required to make a sort of robotic arm for moving things underwater to exact locations (x, y and z coordinates specified) using stepper motors. LabVIEW has to be used to control the motors.

If its computer then,

Hardware : PC >> PCI Motion Card >> UMI - 7774 >> Motor Drives >> Stepper Motor.

Software: LabVIEW.

Better you can consult with an NI engineer . They can guide you better.

Bijay
