no i never thought about cheating. i made it jpg, because jpg has smaller size then bmp.

i just didnt know the rules, should i share it only as vi?

you are right, i thought, labview would give a small error window, 

 

i made size of x and y arrays same, it works now.

I have automatic error handling turned off, so I am not sure.  It may not work for VIs like the General Polynomial Fit.vi which do not have the standard error cluster.

 

The help files on error handling are not clear on whether automatic error handling works on such VIs.

Why would you think that changing the file extension would make the file smaller? That makes absolutely no sense! You need to convert the image using software.

 

(open your image in notepad and you'll see immediately that it is not a jpeg. Just because modern browsers are somewhat idiot proof, automatically detect the filetype and display the image correctly even if the extension is not right, does not mean what you are doing is sane.)

i just tried, u are right, it doesnt change size. 

i dont know why it stayed in my mind like that.
