Hello,
 
How does one set up Labview so that when a new Terminal is added to the Block Diagram (Control, Indicator....) it is by default NOT an icon? To save always changing it with a right click.

Go to Tools > options and click on Block Diagram in the left hand list.  Then uncheck the box that says "Place front panel terminals as icons."
