display picture fullscreen

Hi,

I am using labview 6.0 and i am trying to display a picture in fullscreen.
For the moment i can display it in a picture control, but i can't seem to find the solution for displaying it full screen..
I hope anybody can help me out (or come out with another idea than displaying the picture in a picture control...knowing i have different pictures that must be displayed : one in a specific time and others at other times).

Thanks.
Olivier.

You can't scale an image in the picture control in LabVIEW 6.0. NI did add a "Zoom Factor" property to the picture control in LabVIEW 7.0, so if you have 7.0 or 7.1 available, switch to that add it will be easy.

Otherwise, if you're on a Windows platform, you may be able to do something using ActiveX and the browser control, or another MS Office application. Some of them can work with images. NI has an example of how to use the MS browser and ActiveX in LabVIEW. LabVIEW example browser.

I think the IMAQ toolkit also has scaling options for images also. Though I've never tried it, you might look into it.

Let me know what you have available and we'll see if we can't work something out.

Thank you for the tips Ed, i will see what i can do with the activeX and browser control - for the moment, i can't upgrade to labview 7.0 but if I can't manage to get this working, I'll seriously consider upgrading.

I'll also try with the IMAQ toolkit - i'll let you know.
