driver conflict PCI-7831R

hi out there,

my problem is the following one: i need to program my new pci-7831R with labview 7.0 and labview fpga 7.0. The driver that are shipped with the card are only for labview 7.1 (NI-RIO 1.3).

So i installed a new pc with labview 7.0, fpga 7.0 and additionally the matching ni-rio 1.0.1 (from the old device driver cd).

when i insert the card into the computer, the driver doesn't recognize the card. Even in MAX (3.0.1) the software NI-RIO and the card doesn't appear.

Is it some kind of firmware problem? do i have to install the NI-RIO 1.3, and is it then possible to program it with labview 7.0??

Hope that someone could help.

thanks a lot

Hello Gibbi,

There is nothing wrong with your driver installation, but unfortunately LabVIEW FPGA 7.0 only supports the PXI version of that board.
