Hello,
i have been using PXI -8177 embedded controller. I want to know the deterministic rate of this controller. and which type of RT is loaded in it. what is the difference between RTOS and general computing OS. Can please throw some light on it?????//

The PXI controller can have one of two operating systems:

• Windows OS
• Real-Time OS (deterministic)

Ultimately, the architecture of your program will determine the deterministic rate.
