erreur 33816

Solved!
Go to solution

Bonjour,

Hello,

I am faced with the following problem:

I perform an operation on an FP-PG-522 module.

I get an error 33816 "unexpected character in Optomux answer."

When I perform the same operation by asking the animation run, I have no error!

Quelq'un have an explanation or solution?

Thank you for your help

Hello Jacouille,

I don't directly see how this error is related to the FP-PG-522 (Pulse Generator) module.

It seem like this error is coming from the communication with your "Optomux device".

- What device are you communicating with?

- How are you communicating with this device?

I expect you are using an application that implements the Optomux protocol on top of a serial port? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optomux)

- Did the application work perfectly before?

If yes, what changed since then?

Hello,

I use an solid state relay to acting en electromagnetic pump.

I use a serial cable between the PC and the NI FP module (9600 bauds)

The only change is the PC

Many thanks

Can you share a MAX report of your System?

Can you also show a screenshot of how is seen?

Hi Jacouille,

Do you have the error also when only one "P0x" is TRUE at a time (for example P01= TRUE and P02, P03, P04 = FALSE)?

If no, can you try to "sequentialize" your four functions to see if it is better?

Also, can you look if the error is always coming from the same function out of the four?

Kind regards,
