excel 2000 labview 7 windows 98

Hello,

I'm finding troubles with excel 2000 when I use open excel.vi. When the application runs on Windows 2000/XP machine all seem to be rigth, but with Win 98 OS the message "...page error caused in rpcrt4.dll.." appears and the program aborts.
Have you any suggestions?

did you try re-link the Excel application reference in the "open excel.vi"?

the application reference was linked. I tried to relink but nothing changed.
The application abort and excel does not work.
The following message appears in message box :

could you translate the message into english? it's hard to figure it out myself. My suggestion would be search the msdn site for the particular error code returned by excel. It seems like you also have the labview abort problem. Well, in this case re-install excle or labview or both might help.
