firewire camera disappear after reboot

im not sure if this issue is cause due to firewire cable. in this case there is no friction between the cable or any mechanical part. and im using just 1 camera.

Actually, I read in this topic that several users had different systems, therefor I wrote down the potential solutions that I have tried.

To be honest, the real reason of the dissappearing camera in the MAX, and the exclamation mark in the device manager in which case the camera can be brought back by 'updating the driver' is still unknown to me, but I don't have this issue anymore at the moment.

Set-up: LV 8.6, NI-Vision 8.6, Max 4.5, AVT bus driver, 12 AVT Guppy cams with 2 hubs on a single FireWire-A PCI card.

Actually, this happened twice to me. I did the "driver update" and everything went back to normal, but a day after i had to do it again.

I did some tests and tried to reproduce the error but no luck. I'm trying to figure out under what circumstances this issue may occur.

Best regards

Just an update...

I've spoke with Basler people and told me that this issue may occur if there was a power failure during the camera start up.

I changed the firewire cable and the issue has gone.
