force a reinstall of an application

Thanks for the reply.

 

If you click Start>>Run and type 'regedit' it will bring up the Registry Editor.

 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall

Locate the entry for the program we want to install.

Sorry for the late reply,

 

I will look into this as it seems a vaiable solution.....I guess as long as the uninstall string always remains the same for the application.

However if another solution exists that does not require me to uninstall the application, then that might be better as it is cleaner
