Hello

are there any other things that i should look it? i also got the LabVIEW license activated sometime back.. still the same issue continues..

I called local NI support and they have suggested i look at the forum posts and try the things out.. i told them i had already tried which ever i could, after looking at the forums..

so, they asked for time to get back to me..

Have you tried repairing FPGA drivers??

If not try that and check.

the problem is, since we do not have admin rights, i have to call up the IT guys for all this stuff... and they come almost half a day after we raise an SOS..

so, i will try to get them reinstall it...

but what i wonder is, how was i able to compile a cRIO FPGA code and acqurie data and not able to compile a PXI FPGA code?

Hi,

Its a good question.

To ensure that there is no problem with the driver just built a cRIO FPGA vi and compile it. If the error repeats then we can try repairing or reinstalling the drivers.

i said, i was able to compile a cRIO FPGA vi. but am not able to compile a PXI FPGA.. the first thing i did was to connect a cRIO and test. it was successful..

For an update:

I have repaired the FPGA drivers yesterday afternoon and restarted the PC. I came back this morning and found that the PXI Chassis is not detected in the MAX anymore!

i cannot see the chassis and therefore the AI/AO/FPGA cards inside the chassis.

so.... leaving the ENTIRE NI software for uninstallation over the weekend.

hope the next week turns out to be good...
