gif animations

Hi,

I use LV 8.2.1 DSC RT, (OS VISTA) , (my graphics card is NVIDIA WinFast PX8600)

I would like to use gif animations in my front panel, and control them from the block diagram.

I read a few threads in here, but all of them requires LV 8.5 (at least what I have found).

 (right now, I drag a gif animation to the front panel and I see it "moves",

   but I there is no indication for her in the block diagram)

I would be glad to get examples or tips, so I can control gif animations from the block diagram.

Also, I would be glad to get recommendations for gif animations source (website)

which might have animation useful for Temperature control.
