how to generate fixed number of pulses from CRIO?

Hi! Can anyone tell me how to generate fixed number of pulses from cRIO FPGA code. I am using cRIO 9074 & NI 9401 module. I have to feed fixed number of pulses to the Drive of the Electric Actuator to move it to a desired position. Regards, Nitin
