So I was having difficulty with one of my devices and it seemed to have happened after I upgraded NIVISA and IVI compliance package to the new version 15. I attempted to roll them back to NIVISA 5.4 and ICP 4.6 which was when it was all still working. I accedentially also uninstalled the IVI shared componets 2.3. Once I got everything back installed (older versions) the NIMAX completely reset and none of my previously installed IVI devices showed up in the drop down for the software tab on the IVI driver session. I started re-installing them and that seemes to be working as they started re-appearing in this dropdown. All the ones that installed with a MSI file restored fine, but the ones that install with a setup.exe file are not. I tried removing them and then reinstalling them and they still do not show up in the drop down. I tried repairing the NIVISA and ICP modules and still nothing. The ones I am trying to install are all o-scopes. Tektronixs. The tkdpo3, 3, and 5 series.
Any thoughts? I figure there is something in a file somewhere not getting reset properly.
