play video files WMP 9 activeX

Does anyone have examples of this?  I searched around an there was some talk that LV 7 was not compatible with WMP 9.  Is this true or has it been fixed?  I have downloaded some examples that work once then quit.  I assume it is because of WMP compatibility issues.

This example does not work for me.  I'm using Win 2K and LV 7.1.  You can load a video, but it does not play back.

Hi Bill,

I searched around some more, and found out that R&D are well aware of the fact that LabVIEW 6.x and 7.x doesn't support Windows Media Player 9. The developers are working on fixing this for future versions of LabVIEW, but for now the workaround is to downgrade Windows Media Player to version 8.
