Unfortunately, I was out of town this year. Also driving to SD would be getting expensive with the gas prices these days. 😞
I am trying to attend most local user group meetings, especially at UCLA. The meetings down in Torrance are a bit inconvenient. It took me once 85 minutes on the 405 to drive the 18 miles. The freeway was basically a parking lot. Long ago, most UG meetings were in El Segundo, a bit closer. Recently, traffic has slighly, but measurably decreased (I think officially it is ~1.5%) and it will only get better once the gas prices double again. 😮
