printer doesn't "print window"

Dears,

after installing an old laserjet3,
"print window" only gives one line of characters
printed over eachother, but no picture.

This question have been asked some time ago, but the anwser (update) didn't help me.

anyone found a solution, meanwhile?

try to print a bitmap picture from another program ... if it's working you can press Alt+Print Screen, Paste it in MS Paint and Print it.
