problems with labview installation

Hi everyone, I'm from Italy and I have a problem with LabView 6.i installation. I've bought a new computer and I have to reinstall labview.Unfortunately at the installation it tells me that "the cab. file m12.cab required is corrupt and cannot be used" it means that I cannot reinstall the software and I have nobody to help me. Can somebody who's got this version send me just the "m12.cab" file or find another solution to help me.Thanks a lot in advance (my email is ionutfasola@tiscali.it)

Have you tried copying the entire LV 6 CD to a local hard drive and running the install from HD? That's gotten me around a few bugs before.

yes, I have tried it, but m12.cab it's the only one file corrupted, so I cannot install it any more; if somebody would be so kind to send me this file I would surely solve this problem. The file is on "labview6.i\LabVIEW\installer\m12.cab" and it's got 17.5 MB..... Thanks for answering me.

On my LV 6.1 cd there are 3 m12.cabs, one each in NI 488.2, IMAQ, and NI-DAQ. None of which are 17.5 Mb and there is no \LV\Installer directory. Have you contacted NI for a replacement CD?

I will contact NI for a replacement CD but this will probably take a long time ( I,m in Italy). As I work with this program I thought that asking in the forum may be a bit faster. Probably you have a different version of Labview if you have 3 "m12.cab". My version is 6.i. Anyway thanks for answering me..If somebody can help me my email is helgamarchi@tin.it (the one that I gave before is not good as it has only 10MB, this one's got 50MB). Thanks a lot
