rs-485 read from rs-422

I am using NI's 1 port RS-485 interface for USB to read data from a RS-422, however I am running into a framework error in labview.  Could some one help explain how to use labview to read the data properly.

Have you tried running the NI RS 485 Tranceiver Cntrol.vi
You can find it by openning Example Finder.
To do this in LabVIEW navigate to Help>>Find Examples>>Hardware Input and Output>>Serial
