rubb and buzz testing with Labview

Does anyone have experience with "rubb and buzz" testing for loudspeakers with Labview? I am a grad. student in the field of cybernetics, and I have a project where I am trying to make a quality control system for loudspeakers. The purpose of the project is to verify if NI software and hardware is apply able to such a system, at the same level as ready to run systems as Klippell, Bruel og Kjær, NTI, MLSSA, LMS, Audio Precision, and K&K Int. I am convinced that such a system is possible, but my problem is that my programming capabilities are not good enough to manage this, all by my self.

I would be most thankful for comments and tips that will lead me onto the right track...

You might try contacting one of the NI Alliance Members who specializes in this area. Even if you're not planning to generate business for them, some might nevertheless be interested in the conversation in order to get you and your application on their radar screen.

I can recommend someone named Steve Temme at Listen Inc. Once upon a time, I worked with his company, and I know they offer a very high-end speaker and microphone quality testing package based on LabVIEW. They've also got contacts with various manufacturers, including B&K.

John
