I'm sure this isn't the right place for this sort of question, but I submitted a form on the website a few days ago and I'm not patient enough to wait for a reply... Any idea how much an upgrade to the latest LabVIEW version costs? (I'm currently using 6.0 on a single (university) PC)

Depends not only on your version, but the type (base, full, professional). But listed below is the list price for upgrades:
Base $ (without SSP) 395 (with 595)
Full $ (without SSP) 595 (with 795)
Pro $ (without SSP) 795 (with 995)

* SSP is the software subscription program

If the purchase comes through a university PO or credit card you should also be eligable for EDU discounts of 35%...

Nice discounts - how can I tell which type of package I have? (base, full, professional...) I wasn't around when it was purchased.

If it is the base package, it will not have the advanced analysis libraries (FFTs, Curve Fitting, Fourier Analysis, etc).
The Full package does have these higher math functions.
The Professional version allows for building stand alone applications [Tools|Build Application of Shared Library (DLL)].

This is not set in stone however. You can also purchase the Application Builder seperately so you could have the Base package and be able to distribute your code. The most accurate method of finding out what version you have is to call up one of your local NI representatives and provide him with your serial number [Help|About LabVIEW]. They can look up your version with this information and provide it to you.

Thought I should correct this information - I've since found out that the prices given in dollars above should be in POUNDS!
