sample data is not retained when I save VI to desktop

Solved!

The sample data is not retained when I save the VI to the desktop. its a 5 element input array containing 1, -1, 3, 6, 2. I am trying to create two indicators that will hold the total number of oveshoot/undershoot values. In this case it will be 1 and 1.

It's not supposed to be saved when you do this. First, you have to select either Edit>Make Current Values default or right click on the control and select Data Operations>Make Current Value Default.

Thanks!-Please can you look at the amended attached VI. I am trying  to connect the two indicators to show the total number of over/undershoot values. In my test sample data that will be 1 and . How do I attach these indicaors to the for loop?

A thread is to keep all the questions related to a single topic in a single place. To continue posting your queries in the same subject, just click reply button as what you did now. For a new topic, first search the forum and if not satisfied, then post a new message.
