sampling frequency buterworth filter

Dear Friends, hope it's a good day 🙂

I was wondering what is the best sampling frequency that should the buterworth filter configured to. I know that some of you will suggest to try differents values starting from 1000 but I am just asking for your experience guys .

Bill David,

It has to be set to the sampling frequency of the data you are feeding to the filter. If you are acquiring data from an anlog to digital converter, then use the sampling rate of the converter.

I think the default is to assume each element in the input array is acquired 1 second after the previous element.
