I used "print panel.vi" also with LabVIEW 5 and commonly it tooks several seconds to print the panel.
But LabVIEW 6 it took several minutes to print the panel (at first I assumed my computer crashed)
Even after upgrading to LabVIEW 6.02 this remains.
I solved my problem by using report generation vis but I assume the print panel.vi should work properly.

I have a P2 233 Win95 128MB machine, and I just tried printing a full-size front panel with the same VI using 5.1.1 and 6.02 and didn't have any problems, so either it's the memory, or maybe a driver problem. Wish I could give you a better answer.

I agree I think the problem would be a driver problem. I would check with your printer's website for the latest printer driver.
