Unfortunately you cannot add the VISA Runtime Engine as part of your installer. You can however add it as a support file and install from there.

As a side note: I went through installation hell last night trying to get an application installed and working because the VISA drivers were not included in the installation build (LabVIEW 6.1). I've seen in other threads here that 7.1 now includes an option for adding the VISA RTE. It's kind of a moot point now since I got everything working and will hopefully remember the pains I went through the next time this comes up (or will get 7.1 by then), but I was really disappointed in NI for not making LabVIEW warn about potential install issues. They took care of this back in the day of using serpdrv for serial ports. Why not with VISA?
