Hi elyan,

I had a few questions about what you are trying to do after detecting the USB device. Will you try to control it or is it more to just get the status of the system? There is no direct way to access the device manager from LabVIEW but it is possible using the dll further discussed here. If you could give me some more information about your application, we could look into some other options to get the status of your device. Thanks.

Here is a link to a vi that I used to read usb comm devices from the registry. Might give you some ideas on where to look.
