This would depend on the touch screen. Some have specialty drivers that you would have to interact with; and some use the mouse input so that where you touch is where the mouse cursor goes. The mouse port touch screens do not need any special programming. I'd say to look up the documentation on your screen to see how the interface works and if you need any special drivers or commands.
