traditional DAQ labview 11 windows 7

Hello everyone.

 I have many programs that uses DIO config VI to run motors etc. However I have upgraded to LV 11 on Win 7.

If I install traditional DAQ will those programs still work on my windows 7 64 bit OS ...

You really should consider upgrading the VI's to use DAQmx.

Ok I agree. But keeping the algorith of the program same. I can still replace traditional DAQ vi with DAQmx vi's right ?

Like Portconfig replaced with DAQmx createchannel and DAQmx start task.

If I do that its gonna function properly right.
