Solved!
Go to solution

Lo guys, here's a simple question: How can I turn on one of two LEDs at a time considering the situation at hand: (btw X=RED and O=GRN)

1) RED off, GRN off, we press X to turn on RED

2) RED off, GRN off, we press O to turn on GRN

3) RED on, GRN off, we press  X, message "RED is already on"

4) RED off, GRN on, we press  O, message "GRN is already on"

5) RED on, GRN off, we press O, GRN remains off, message "RED is on"

6) RED is off, GRN is on, we press X, RED remains off, message "RED is on"

I really tried everything I know Smiley Sad Thanks in advance, KUDOS to everyone that helps, i'd rather V8.2 shall you update the attached VI

Hi redghb,

Are you sure this requirement is correct? I guess there is a conflict in point no. 5 and 6? Could you read it again and confirm that its correct?

Point No. 5 and 6 in original post put me in real confusion.
But when it was rephrased in English, better enough! :smileywink::smileyhappy:

Hi rebghb,

I think your line 6 should be:

6) RED is off, GRN is on, we press X, RED remains off, message "GRN is on"

I've attached a solution. I hope it's helpful. There are always many ways to solve a problem in LabVIEW.

5) RED on, GRN off, we press O, GRN remains off, message "RED is on"

6) RED is off, GRN is on, we press X, RED remains off, message "RED is on" shold be GRN

in other words, ur playing tic tac toe, if there's already an X or an O, you cannot just draw over the existing symbol... this is the point
