Hello !!

Can any one suggest me how to generate a pulse of 3V/0V at output pin (a01) to switch transistor..

requirement is : 1ms - 3V and 400ms -0V continously..

Using NI-USB 6009

The short answer is that you cannot do that with the USB-6009. The analog outputs of the device are software timed and the 1 ms pulse width is too fast for software timed outputs. Depending on the computer, OS, other software activity, and perhaps the phase of the moon, you can only expect AO update rates of 100 Hz to  a few hundred Hz and there may be considrable timing jitter at those rates.

You need to get a DAQ device with hardware timed AO.

Am satisfied with your answer, But i wonder if  it is  possible to generate using digital port(PO.0) of USB-6009 with the mentioned requirements ???

The digital port of the USB-6009 is also software timed and will have the same limitation.
