vision and motion problems with PCI-1411

We are students at the University of Texas at Austin and we are working on a DVR using Labview and PCI-1411. We first install the PCI card and the NI-IMAQ 2.5.1 software that is coming with that card. We took the Labview 6.1 software from the school and when we install that Labview version, it deleted all the libraries of NI-IMAQ 2.5.1 and replace it with the 2.5.2 version. Only that 2.5.1 had much more libraries. Now we can't find some functions like the Display of a picture function and we don't know how to make labview work with the 2.5.1 version.We try to delete 2.5.2 and reinstall 2.5.1 but nothing happen. Also after that the Measurement and Automation didn't work

Try with the custom install of LabVIEW. Uninstall both Ni-IMAQ and LabVIEW from Add/Remove Programs. Then put the LabVIEW CD in and select Custom installation. Then choose to install only LabVIEW, with no drivers.
After you have LabIVEW installed, then install the NI-IMAQ from the CD that came with the PCI board.
