wavelet detrend!!

Dear NI,

We would appreciate a response to our previous posting entitled "wavelet detrend".  We were promised by one of your Applications Engineers (Kalin.T.) some more information (i.e. documentation) on your wavelet detrend VI.  In particular we need to figure out which wavelet family is best suited to our DNA microarray data.  Directions for this are not given in your manuals and it is not possible to trial and error as we do not know what to expect.  Please do refer to our previous posting for more information about what we need.

I apologize about the delay. I'm still waiting to receive the details on the algorithms for the detrend and de-noise VIs. However, as I mentioned before the selection of the wavelet is very application-related.

Dear Kalin,

Please do get those details to us asap (support@mp-engs.com).  We realise choosing a wavelet family is very application specific, as you've indicated in your documentation, but you've not eleaborated on how to do it nor indicated which families is suited to which sorts of data etc.  We ask that you assist us with this.  Specifically we are using the detrend and the denoise VI's.  This matter is now rather urgent.
