HI all,
I am novice in using labview. For the error problem I am facing the discussion forums suggest to repair the drivers. If this doesn't work uninstall and reinstall the Labview.
So, I am having one doubt. Say I save the VIs written in LabView 7.1 before uninstalling and install LabView 8.0. Does the VIs run properly in LabView 8.0.
Thanks for your help.

That's actually a different question about upgrading your LabVIEW version that is unrelated to missing drivers, and uninstalling / reinstalling LabVIEW.
But your LV 7.1 files should open and work just fine in LV 8.0. If you are doing anything unusual with your LabVIEW programs, you may want to read the upgrade notes on LV 8.0 to see if any of those might affect your specific program situation.

On the topic of drivers:
If you upgrade your version of LabVIEW your VIs should still function as mentioned above - however you will need to install driver support for the version of LabVIEW you are moving to.
For example, when you have LabVIEW 7.x installed and you run the installation for a driver set, support is only installed for the environment(s) installed on the machine (LabVIEW 7.x in this example). When you upgrade to LabVIEW 8.x, you need to run the driver installation again - to add the support for the new environment.
